Description
This colourful landscape captures the gentle rolling hills of Waipapa in the foreground, with Cape Brett and the Bay of Islands stretching into the distance.
Inspired by my six-week stay in this stunning location, I was mesmerised by how the colours shifted daily with the changing light. Unlike the original Bay of Islands Bliss, this second interpretation takes a softer, more fluid approach, blending the hues seamlessly. The beams of lighter colour still echo the sun peeking through the clouds, adding a sense of tranquillity and movement.
This piece beautifully celebrates the ever-changing beauty of New Zealand’s coastal landscapes.
