This painting is pure happiness and bright, joyful colour showing a mother and baby dolphin swimming together.
Seeing dolphins play in the bow waves of my Dad’s boat was always a highlight for us as kids. I wanted to create a painting that brings back that joy every time I see it.
I’ve used gentle curves to depict the gracefulness of the dolphins and the koru shapes to represent bow waves … all with my signature bold colours, lines and shapes.
This is a fun piece full of frivolity and happy vibes.
