There are some views that instantly feel like home. Good Hope is one of them.
Inspired by an afternoon on Ruakākā Beach, looking across the water towards the Whangārei Heads - a coastline filled with memories for me of family, sailing and time spent by the sea.
The little yacht is my Dad’s boat, Good Hope, making its way home across waters I’ve known and loved for years. I wove the sea, land and sky together with flowing colour and koru, capturing not just the view, but the feeling of enjoying all of it together.
I hope it brings a little of that same freedom, warmth and connection to the coast into your home.
