A beautifully tranquil and colourful landscape. This semi-abstract painting shows Limestone Island reflected in the still waters of the Whangarei harbour on a calm summers day.
I love this view from my parents house and wanted to capture the stillness of the scene as well as the vibrant colours of summer.
I’ve used soft blends of acrylic on canvas to give a sense of peace and bold vivid colours and shapes to entice viewers in.
